Life is short! But, there are milestones and people who stand out. For me and my company, one such milestone and person is Belinda Smith and her 17-year anniversary with Power Marketing. Belinda began with my company August 29, 1994; just two short years after I opened my doors. Add to that the fact that we’ve actually worked together in other capacities for 25 years; you can easily understand my respect for her.
There’s no way to point out the many ways Belinda’s been a great employee and an even better friend. I cannot count or list all the reasons why we’ve made it all these years. But here are a few: Belinda is the most trustworthy person I have ever known next to my wife of 32 years. Belinda knows what it means to keep a confidence. She is one of the hardest working people I have ever worked with. Belinda cares about others and is the best listener ever. Belinda not only works hard, once she understands a process, she is incredibly efficient. Belinda is an employee whom I trust with any customer because she legitimately cares about the success of our clients. Here are a few quotes from some people who know her well:

I am honored to call Belinda a friend. She has walked with me through thick and thin. Her trust and confidence in me personally is both humbling and honoring. Thank you Belinda! We’ve laughed together many times and we’ve cried a few times too. To her husband Smitty, I say, thank you for allowing Belinda to be such a great friend to me. Belinda has walked with me in very difficult times… even to her own hurt. She trusts me and that means more than words can express. We’ve walked quite a few roads together – some business, some spiritual, and some just as friends. She helped me with my kids if necessary and whatever else needed done she was up to the task.
